# Geometry Problems

Sub Topics
In this section we actually go through the problems in geometry which involves problems based on congruent triangles, similarity of figures, circles and cyclic quadrilaterals.
All the problems covered are designed to meet the requirements of all standards practicing geometry.

### Solved Examples

Question 1: Find the area of triangle if it has a base 8 cm and height = 20 cm.
Solution:
The area of the triangle is given by the formula A = $\frac{1}{2}$ * base * height

A = $\frac{1}{2}$ * 8 * 20 = 80 cm2

Question 2: Find the area of parallelogram whose base is 8 cm and height is 12 cm.
Solution:
The area of parallelogram is given by B * H.

So A = 8 * 12 = 96 cm2 .

Here in this section we have given a few objective questions to Answer. The answers are marked at the end as an option.

1. The supplement of 140

2. Two parallel sides of a trapezium are 30cm and 40cm  and its altitude is 60 cm .find the area of trapezium.

3. ABCD is a quadrilateral inscribed in a circle with its center angle 60 degree. Find the angle at the circumference of the circle.

4. The exterior angle a triangle is 110 degree and one of the interior angle is 30.Find the other interior angle.
